Project Cheer @ UCSF
Project Cheer is a project initiative started by UCSF with a goal to spread holiday cheer to children and their families getting treatment in UCSF Oakland and San Francisco facilities. Each year, we donate seasonal items and gift cards to children in these facilities through workplace contributions. You can be part of this drive by shipping items on the below wishlist directly to the hospitals. These Amazon wish lists are carefully curated by UCSF staff to include items that are in high demand and that meet the special needs of kids in the hospital. In addition to toys, the list includes everyday needs and gift cards.
The gifts are shipped directly to the hospital, making it one of our easiest options. The Child Life team at UCSF hosts a holiday toy store for parents to pick out presents for their patients and their siblings at no cost, meaning families have one less worry while their child heals.

Fundraising Events
To sustain our essential mission, Sreyash Foundation frequently organizes a range of meaningful fundraising events created to bring our community together in support of children and families. From uplifting galas and charity walks to digital drives and advocacy gatherings, each effort offers a special chance for individuals, companies, and local groups to contribute meaningfully to our work. These events not only secure crucial funding for AVM research and family assistance but also create strong opportunities to spread awareness, build connections, and honor the remarkable strength of the children and families we stand beside.
Every year, we strive to raise $10,000 through these fundraising efforts to aid families impacted by AVMs. These contributions help provide direct financial relief to families whose children are in palliative care. Our mission is to enrich the daily lives of these brave children and ensure their families receive comfort, support, and vital resources during the hardest moments. Your involvement and kindness at these events directly translate into hope for early diagnosis, improved care options, and compassionate support where it matters most.
